We started our family business in July 2015. We work as a couple, Anthony is English, Liu is Thai. Our core business is supplying fresh organic coconut from the Nam Hom variety to small producers in Ratchaburi province. We both worked in the non-organic and then organic coconut water industry, and we wanted to start our export business of whole fresh coconuts first and then cut organic coconuts. then, in partnership with Biovie and Cocoboys. We quickly realized that bio brings real added value to our products. We have chosen the bio because for us it is the best option for the health of consumers, the planet, but also for the health of the farmers with whom we work and their families. We are very proud to be part of our organic community and to pass on these values to local coconut growers who are aware of our approach. We are also invested in more social missions, for example, we give free English lessons to young Thai students to encourage them to better master this language, which is Anthony’s mother tongue.
Anthony, who has a degree in environmental science, met Liu on a trip to Thailand in 2011. They both took a close interest in the Nam Hom coconut variety. Liu comes from the Thai arts scene and then continued her career in international business. She then invested a lot with the local Thai farmers to show them the interest of producing in organic farming. His work has led him to set up a network of small Thai producers in order to enable them to develop their traditional and organic farming techniques for export.
